Medical Options
Slovenia is in the EU. Bring your Medical cards!
You will have travel insurance (a competition requirement) so bring those documents too!
Medical care in Slovenia is fantastic. They have helicopters that arive in (usually) 15 minutes. They are quite used to broken bones and other typical alpine injuries. The hospitals (for EU members) are free providing you have your passport and EU medical card, so fly with them on every task. The helicopters are also free for rescues (it is possibly they may want to claim on your travel insurance if they can, but it is not obligatory).
Remember, your EU health card gets you free healthcare and rescue. It does not get you repatriation nor search and rescue (although some search and rescue is likely to be provided regardless).
